Stuart Giles

Stuart Giles is the Executive Chairman of Epic Pharmacy, which he owns with his wife and business partner Cathie Reid. He was the Founding Chairman and one of the major driving forces behind the establishment of Icon Cancer Care. He remains a Non-Executive Director of Icon following the sale of a significant portion of Epic’s majority interest to Quadrant Private Equity.

Anyone who has met Stuart knows he brings an energetic and innovative approach to developing commercial success and expanding the boundaries of healthcare. He's been publicly recognised for his commercial expertise in forums including the 2010 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year where he was named a Regional Winner and National Finalist.

Stuart is passionate about contributing to the community and serves on the Board of Directors for the AEIOU Foundation for Children with Autism, while supporting medical research as a Founding Platinum sponsor of the Gallipoli Research Foundation. He shows his passion on the ground too, and has led Epic Pharmacy teams in AEIOU’s Take a Hike and Very Special Kids’ 24-hour treadmill challenges, where he’s always happy to pull on a costume to help boost fundraising!

Stuart is an avid supporter of the Hawthorn Australian Rules Football team, a keen golfer and enjoys nothing more than exploring the world with Cathie and their two children, Sascha and Sam. He recently doubled the number of marathons he has completed with the addition of Berlin 2014 to his New York effort in 2009 and also added Executive Producer to his resume in 2014 with the screening on Network Ten in Australia of People of the Vines.
